Chairs stacking - Max's Chairs

Maxim performs an original equilibristic act as it consists in stacking chairs to finally form a sort of âtowerâ of chairs on top of which he will handbalance.

This act is usually the specialty of Chinese acrobats but the music and maximâs style makes it completely different and unique.

Maxim is the fifth generation of a well known Russian artistic family. Already in his childhood, at age of 5, Maxim started to acquire the basic of floor acrobatics and hand balancing/equilibristic from his parents.
The actual act was performed for the very first time in front of an audience in 1998. Since then, he has been performing in various upscale circuses and varieties around the world.

Cube Juggling - The Kube

A giant cube moves around the performer and it is sent over in the air to be then caught by the acrobat again.

It can be seen as being a juggling act as we rarely see this kind of act performed by jugglers.

Once she finished her studies in Tianjin, Liu got selected to attend the school of gymnastics and sports.
In 1999, she joined a troup composed of high level gymnasts in China during 7 years.
It is only in 2006 that she returns to her mom in Belgium and creates a traditional contortion Chinese act.
